Christy A: Can you tell me where at Disney where I can get a specialty pretzel – not just the plain, salted kind?
Tom H.: We’re coming to the Epcot Food & Wine Festival in October, and we’re wondering what the crowds will be like. Are there better days to hit up the booths in World Showcase?

More Fun Stuff From This Week’s Podcast
About the Picture: It’s the family-style breakfast platter from the ‘Ohana Character Breakfast! Everything…plus Mickey Waffles!
Music This Week: The bumper music in this week’s podcast is from several attractions — Tower of Terror, Soarin’, Pirates of the Caribbean, Peter Pan’s Flight, and the famous Main Street Electrical Parade (Think it will ever go back to Disneyland?)

I need to stop listening to your show on the treadmill, it made me hungry.
I love Tonga Toast, amust each trip.
Niki — Ha ha! Maybe listening to food podcasts on the treadmill burns even more calories!
Once again….great podcast! Just want them more often. Thanks for the information on F&W, as we will be there on October 10! Trying to gain as much information as possible, because this is our first time! Keep up the good work!!
What, no 1900 Park Fare love? You don’t want to get in Mary Poppins’ bad books. No spoon full of sugar for you.
Great show as always. And teh F&W e-book is fantastic. It will be our family’s first F&W, and this will help us a lot.
AJ – Just back from DLR. My wife and kids had the Mickey Waffles and I had the Oscar’s Choice at Carnation Cafe. Nothing special about either dish, but they were good. My only regret, Oscar wasn’t there (he only works on weekdays and it was a Sunday). As for character breakfasts, we ate at Surf’s Up at PPH. Standard fare at the buffet, but we enjoyed it. I especially liked the smoked salmon. On a related note from a previous conversation, Trader Sam’s was awesome. The Krakatoa punch, HippopotoMai-Tai, and Uh Oa! were my favorites. The Shipwreck was a little too strong for my taste. I wish there was a watering hole like that in H-town. BTW I proudly wore a green DFB shirt in DLR.
I love breakfast at the Tusker House. They have the best eggs. This year I’m trying for the first time breakfast at Cape May Cafe, CRT and 1900 Park Fair. I can’t wait.
OH MY GOSH! I’m so sad they took the Cinnamon Roll French Toast off the menu I hope Disney brings it back. Thanks for all the great breakfast tips! This is my first time listening to your podcast, and I have to say, I’m a fan! I love the music in between. It’s very NPR-esque except DFB-ified.
P.S. I’ve been to character dining 3 times at Cinderella’s Royal Table and enjoyed it every time. The food is no Le Cellier, but I’ve always enjoyed each course (especially their grilled chicken pasta), and seeing all the princesses at once makes everything taste better, no?
Thanks for the tip on Cape May Cafe.. I’m planning a trip for Nov 2013 and our group usually does Chef Mickey’s for breakfast one day, which is really nice, but Cape May Cafe sounds like another good option.
Surprised no mention of Grand Floridian Cafe. A trip to WDW is not complete without a trip for Lobster Eggs Benedict!
